Air Nunavut Ltd. was established in 1989 in Iqaluit, Nunavut, with the goal of providing transportation services throughout the various communities of the eastern arctic. Today, we operate a fleet of Beechcraft King Air 200 twin-engine pressurized turboprops and provide regular charter service for individuals, organizations, as well as many government agencies.
Air Nunavut is the charter provider of choice for the Nunavut Court of Justice system. We are also one of the few northern operators that provides charter flights between Iqaluit and Greenland, or to other locations such as Eureka and Grise Fiord.
Whether you have a group of passengers, cargo, or a combination of both, if it needs to get there, we will make it happen. Whether you have one destination, or you require a tour of several communities, Air Nunavut will customize a flight schedule to suit your needs. Take a look at the ‘Where We Fly To’ page for a list of some locations. We are also certified in the transportation of dangerous goods.
To obtain a charter quotation, simply contact one of our friendly charter sales associates, or send us an email quote request and we will promptly get back to you.
At Air Nunavut our focus is on flight safety, efficiency, and customer service. We strive to make your flight experience smooth, enjoyable, and worry-free. We will arrange departure times that suit your itinerary and we are happy to assist with hotels, rental cars or catering.
Unlike the airlines, we are available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. We fly according to your schedule and can be airborne within short notice. Airport line-ups, delays, and missed connections will be a thing of the past. When you charter a flight with Air Nunavut, we fly when you want and where you want. There is no waiting for baggage check-in, security, or to board the aircraft. You simply arrive at the airport and we will have you airborne right away. When time is critical, chartering a private plane is the most effective use of your time. Air Nunavut takes the extra effort to ensure that you get to where you need to be, comfortably and on time.
Air Nunavut is an Inuit registered firm, fully insured, and internationally licensed by the Canadian Transportation Agency.
